Teaching plays an important role at LEGS: many of the scientists teach in one of the four partner universities. Half of the lecturers are at the Paris South University (UPS) where the first year includes a course on evolution in relation to the diversity of the living world. Evolution is also taught throughout the university curriculum at degree, Masters and PhD levels. Legs members have written books. For example: M.
